1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup blanched and browned almonds (badam)
oil for greasing
  1. Put the sugar and vanilla in a heavy bottomed pan.
  2. Melt over a medium heat until it is brown.
  3. Add the almonds, mix well and pour onto an oiled surface. Cool and then pound as finely as possible.
