  1. Heat oil in a broad non- stick pan, add the cumin seeds.
  2. When the seeds crackle add asafoetida, peanuts, bay leaves, chillies and sprouts, mix well.
  3. Add salt, garam masala, sugar and lemon juice, mix well. Add the rice and mix again.
  4. Now add the apples, pineapple, pomegranate, coconut, coriander and curry leaves, stir to mix.
  5. Serve hot.
