Presenting an authentic and traditional dessert recipe, Poornam is sweetened with jaggery and flavoured with coconut scrapings and powdered elaichi. Serve the poornam as balls or squares after meals or as sweet snack item.
- Place a kadai on the stove and put the powdered gur in it
- Pour just enough water to wet the gur and stir it continously till the gur melts then immediately add the coconut scrapings and stir it till the coconut absorbs all the gur. switch of immediately.
- Sprinkle the powdered elaichi on the poorna
- Tasty and quick dessert is ready.
