Pohe Ka Vada recipe - How to make Pohe Ka Vada

2 tbsp moong (whole green gram) dal (split green gram)
2 cups beaten rice (poha)
4 tbsp finely chopped spinach (palak)
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp sugar
3 green chillies , finely chopped
salt to taste
oil for deep frying
  1. Soak the moong dal in cold water for 1 hour.
  2. Wash the poha (riceflakes) and leave to drain for 10 minutes.
  3. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly, shape into medium size balls and flatten them.
  4. Heat the oil. Fry the vadas and cook until golden brown.
