Pineapple rasam recipe - How to make Pineapple rasam

Ingredients Pineapples roughly cut and sliced -4,
2tsp, toor dal,
1/4 tsp turmeric powder,
1/4 tsp crushed pepper corns,
2tsp Tamarind pulp,
2whole red chillies,
a pinch of asafoetida,
1/4 tsp mustard seeds,
2sprigs of curry leaves,
1tbsp rasam powder,
salt to taste
2tsp vegetable oil,
Coriander leaves for garnishing

  1. Boil the pineapples, toor dal with turmeric powder in water for about 10 mins till you feel that the pineapple is thoroughly soaked in water.drain. blend this in the mixture and keep the juice aside. dilute this juice with lots of water and boil with salt and rasam powder for 5 mins. add1/4 tsp crushed peppercorns, tamarind pulp, few of curry lea
  2. just before you want to serve, boil this rasam once again for 5 mins, add coriander leaves and serve hot! with papad or moong wada or any pakora of your choice.
