A kheer recipe with a nice twist. Petha kheer is prepared by cooking milk with grated petha or gourd , sugar and cardamoms. An unique , quick and simple petha kheer recipe with an irrestible taste.
- Grate the petha and add to the milk and mix well.
- Bring the milk to boil and cook till milk reduces to 1/2 and becomes thick.
- Add the nuts and mix well.
- Serve hot or chilled.
