Peas and Cheese Roll recipe - How to make Peas and Cheese Roll



Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 serving

1 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1 cup green peas
1 slit green chilli
2 garlic (lehsun) cloves
1 tsp dried mixed herbs
1/2 cup grated mozarella cheese
salt to taste
1 tbsp oil for greasing
water asrequired
  1. Combine the green peas, green chillies and garlic and blend in a mixer to a smooth paste.
  2. Add the rice flour, salt, mixed herbsto the peas paste and mix well.
  3. If required add little water and knead into smooth dough.
  4. Add the oil to coat the dough and knead until it is firm and smooth.
  5. Take a plastic sheet and apply little oil and place this dough.
  6. Place another plastic sheet over it and roll it flat.
  7. Remove the top plastic sheet and grate cheese on top.
  8. Slowly roll it and close the ends by applying little water.
  9. Heat water in steamer and place this roll in the steamer plate and steam for about 8-10 minutes.
  10. Cool and cut into bite size piece and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
