For Pea Stuffing
1 tbsp ghee
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
a pinch asafoetida (hing)
1 tsp chopped ginger (adrak)
1 tsp chopped green chillies
1/2 cup chopped cashewnuts (kaju)
1/2 cup chopped peanuts
1 cup boiled green peas
1/2 tsp chilli powder
salt to taste

Other Ingrediends
3 phyllo sheets
2 tbsp butter
For stuffing

    For stuffing
  1. Heat the ghee in a non-stick pan, add the cumin seeds.
  2. When the seeds crackle, add the ginger, green chillies and asafoetida and sauté for 2 minutes on a medium flame.
  3. Add the cashewnuts, peanuts, green peas, chilli powder and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Remove from the flame, divide into equal portion and keep aside to cool.

How to proceed

  1. Brush each phyllo sheet with butter and stuff with one portion of the green pea filling.
  2. Fold and brush again using butter.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 160 degree Celsius for 20 minutes or till it turns to golden brown in colour.
  4. Serve hot with chutney of your choice.
