Most people think the bland nature of paneer makes it suitable only for tangy tomato gravies, but that is a misconception — paneer is so versatile that it goes well with white gravy too. Paneer in quick white gravy is an easy and fast, mildly-flavoured preparation. If made with fresh, soft paneer, it is truly a heavenly experience.
- Heat the ghee in a kadhai, add the paste and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Add the garam masala, cream, milk, salt and 2 tbsp of water and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Add the paneer and ¼ cup of water, mix gently and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot.
