200 gms paneer (cottage cheese)
1/2 cup finely grated cabbage
1 tbsp garlic (lehsun) paste
1 tbsp ginger-green chilli paste
1/2 tsp black salt (sanchal)
1/2 tsp degi mirch
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 to 3 tbsp thick curds (dahi)
1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
oil for deep frying
  1. Cut paneer into half inch cubes and keep aside.
  2. Combine the curd, garlic paste, ginger-green chilli paste, salt, red chilli powder, black salt, garam masala and maida in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Add the paneer, mix well and keep aside for 10 to 15 minutes
  4. Heat the oil in a kadhai,coat the paneer pieces with cabbage and deep fry till golden and crisp from all the sides.
  5. Sprinkle some chaat masala and lemon juice over it.
  6. Serve hot.
