This is a very rich dish, consists of paneer and sweet potato.

Paneer Sweet Potato Balls recipe - How to make Paneer Sweet Potato Balls

1 1/2 cups boiled , peeled and mashed sweet potato (shakarkand)
1 cup mashed paneer (cottage cheese)
2 tsp powdered cardamoms
1 tbsp powdered mixed nuts
3 tbsp rajgira flour
1/2 tsp powdered nutmeg (jaiphal)
5 tbsp ghee
1 1/2 cups sugar
  1. Combine the rajgira flour, nutmeg powder and water to make a fine paste. Keep aside.
  2. Combine the sweet potato, paneer, cardamom powder, powdered nuts and mix well.
  3. Make smooth balls out of this mixture.
  4. Dip each ball in above batter.
  5. Deep fry in ghee.
  6. Keep aside in a plate.

For sugar syrup

    For sugar syrup
  1. Combine the sugar and water in a deep pan, till sugar is dissolved.
  2. Boil it to a 2 thread consistency.
  3. Dip each fried sweet potato ball in sugar syrup.
  4. Coat it properly.
  5. In a serving plate, keep all sweet potato balls, garnish with rose petals and almond flakes.
  6. Serve hot or chilled.
