2 cups whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1/2 cup warm milk
salt to taste

For The Stuffing
1 cup crumbled paneer (cottage cheese)
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
salt to taste
oil for cooking
For the dough

  1. Combine all the ingredients in bowl and knead to a soft dough. Keep aside.

For the stuffing

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and keep aside.

How to proceed

    How to proceed
  1. Divide the dough into equal portions, roll each portion into round chapattis and place 1 portion stuffing in the center and fold in the sides so as to cover it.
  2. Roll out again into paratas and put it on a hot pan and roast it by applying very little oil on both sides.
  3. Repeat the process to make more paratha.


  1. Use always warm milk to make the chapatti dough, this will makes the chapattis very soft.
