Paneer Pakoda recipe - How to make Paneer Pakoda

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 servings

50 gms paneer (cottage cheese)
1 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
2 tsp oil
salt to taste
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp chopped green chillies
oil for deep frying
chutney for serving
  1. Combine all the ingredients along with 1/2 cup of water, except the paneer, and blend in a mixer till smooth. Keep aside.
  2. Sprinkle little salt and chilli powder on the paneer cubes and keep aside.
  3. Heat the oil in a kadhai, dip each paneer cube in the prepared batter and deep fry in hot oil till they turn golden brown and crisp from all the sides.
  4. Drain on an absorbent paper and serve immediately with chutney.
