A hot evening snack relished during the monsoons or a cold winters day. Make it healthy by putting it in an electric tandoor instead of a frying pan.
- Combine the besan, cumin seeds powder, red chilli powder, salt, ginger-garlic paste and lemon juice in a bowl and mix well, adding enough water to make a smooth batter.
- Add the paneer to the prepared batter and keep aside to marinate for half an hour.
- Heat the oil in kadhai and deep fry the paneer till golden brown and crisp from all the sides.
- Serve hot sprinkled with chaat masala.
