Pakodi recipe - How to make Pakodi


Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 5 servings

2 onions , sliced
1 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
3 green chillies , chopped
1/2 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
1/2 tbsp chilli powder
salt to taste
oil for deep-frying
  1. Combine all the ingredients and mix well adding little water and keep aside for 2 minutes.
  2. Heat the oil in a kadai and drop a spoonful of batter and deep fry till they turn golden brown and crisp.
  3. Drain on an absorbent paper and serve hot.
