Pachak Mukhwas, consuming 1 teaspoon this mukhwas after every meal is ideal for the post pregnant lady and equally good for everyone.
As far as possible do not grind the ingredients as the ingredients used are good for gastritis / stomach problems which are normally associated with pregnancy.The ingredients in the mukhwas when chewed will have better results than the ones which are finely ground.

Pachak Mukhwas recipe - How to make Pachak Mukhwas

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 cups

1 cup fennel seeds (saunf)
1 cup carom seeds (ajwain)
1 cup balanshopa
1 cup grated dry coconut (kopra)
1 tsp sugar (optional)
salt to taste
  1. Dry roast fennel seeds, carom seeds, balanshopa and coconut separately on a broad non-stick pan for 2 to 3 minutes till it starts giving a good aroma.
  2. Combine the roasted ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well.
  3. Add salt and sugar, mix well.
  4. Cool and store in an air-tight container and use as required.
