I love cake very much but I was unable to make it perfectly..one day I thought of making cake by by crushing the biscuits.So when I used Oreo biscuit the cake came out so perfect and was superb in taste..so from that i tried making cakes from different different biscuits..And the experiment was so superb..

Oreo Biscuit Cake recipe - How to make Oreo Biscuit Cake

Ingredients
20 oreo biscuits
1 cup milk
1 tsp baking powder
powdered sugar
oil for greasing
Method
    Method
  1. Blend the Oreo biscuits with its cream in a mixer to smooth powder.
  2. In a deep bowl combine the Oreo biscuits mixture, milk, sugar and baking powder and mix well to a dropping consistency.
  3. Pour the cake mixture in a microwave safe baking bowl greased with oil.
  4. Microwave on for 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. To test insert a toothpick ,if it comes out clean the cake is ready, otherwise microwave for 1 more minute.
  6. Cool, cut into wedges and serve.

  1. This cake can also be made in a cooker.
  2. Cook for 7 to 8 minutes without the whistle.

You haven’t specified the amount of powdered sugar that needs to be put. How much should be put?

I tried the recipe the cake did not form well. It was still soft and semi liquid in the center. I tried it in the cooker after preheating the cooker for half an hour and later in medium flame cooked it for 30 minutes.

Tarla Dalal    Hi, baking powder is required for the cake to get its airiness. There is no replacement for baking powder in this recipe.

Which type of milk is better for dis cake?? Raw milk or boiled milk??

Tarla Dalal    Hi, As this is a member contributed recipe, we have not tried this...however try baking it at 200 C in a pre-heated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, but please check in between...
