Orange Cream Noodles recipe - How to make Orange Cream Noodles

1/2 small sized packet rice noodles
3/4 cup chopped orange
1/4 cup orange juice
1 1/2 cups sweetened whipped cream
2 tsp orange squash or 1/4 teaspoon orange essence
1/4 tsp orange rind
mixed nuts or tutti-frutti or orange marmalade for decoration
  1. Put the rice noodles in a deep broad bowl and pour boiling water on the noodles, stir gently, cover and keep aside for 7 to 10 minutes, depending on the thickness. Once the noodles are cooked or they turn translucent, drain well and keep aside
  2. In another bowl combine whipped cream the orange rind, orange juice and whip for some more time.
  3. Then gently fold in oranges, orange squash and lastly fold in the cooked noodles.
  4. Scoop the orange cream noodles and serve decorated with orange piece, and nuts or a dollop of orange marmalade or tutti-frutti.
  5. Refrigerate for 20 minutes. Serve chilled.
