coconut gratings--1cup
Roasted red chillies--3
Tamarind lump (size of tamarind seed)
salt to taste
water as required

  1. Peel onions and chop them.
  2. Grind coconut gratings with roasted redchillies and tamarind to a fine paste.
  3. Transfer the masala to a vessel.
  4. Add salt to taste and desire quantity of water.
  5. Finally,mix raw oil and chopped onion.
  6. Serve with rice.
