Ingredients

Ingredients
4 onions
1 cup plain flour (maida)
1 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 tsp salt
oil for deep-frying
Method

    1. Peel onions, slice thinly, and separate into rings.
    2. In a bowl pour the milk and add the rings in it.
    3. Keep aside for at least one hour.
    4. Drain. do not throw the milk.
    5. Beat the egg well, add the milk, salt and sifted flour.
    6. Dip each onion ring into batter, drop into deep hot oil, and fry till golden brown on medium flame.
    7. Serve hot with ketchup or any other sauce of your choice.
