To Be Mixed and Kneaded Into A Soft Dough
2 cups whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
2 tsp oil
1 tsp salt
water as required

For The Stuffing
100 gms paneer (cottage cheese) , grated
1 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped coriander (dhania) leaves
2 tbsp garam masala
salt to taste
1 tsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
1 tsp green chilli paste
1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
2 tsp oil

Other Ingredients
whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta) for rolling
oil for cooking
For the stuffing

    For the stuffing
  1. Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions and saute till the onions turn brown in colour.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilli paste, mix well and saute for more 1 minute.
  3. Add the paneer, mix well and saute for 2 minutes.
  4. Remove from the flame, add the salt, garam masala and red chilli powder and mix well.
  5. Cool and divide the stuffing into 4 equal portions and keep aside.

  1. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and keep aside.
  2. Roll out a portion of the dough into a circle of 4” diameter.
  3. Place a portion of the stuffing at the centre and bring the edges together at the centre to seal tightly.
  4. Roll out again into a circle of 6” diameter, using little whole wheat flour.
  5. Heat a tava and cook each paratha, using little oil, till golden brown spots appear on both the sides.
  6. Repeat the same steps to make 3 more parathas.
  7. Serve hot.
