Traditional south Indian cuisine pongal with little variation made with oats to make it nutritious.
- Heat oil in non stick pan, add jeera, black pepper, green chillies and ginger and roast the same.
- Add cleaned and washed moong dal with 4 glasses of water and put to boil.
- When the dal is cooked, add oats and salt, mix well.
- Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
