Ingredients

120 ml milk
30 gms butter or margarine
10 gms walnuts (akhrot)
120 gms sugar
1/4 tin condensed milk
20 gms cashewnuts (kaju)

OPTIONAL
2 tsp drinking chocolate mixed in 1.1/2 dessert spoon milk or hot water or 1 level dessert spoon water.
Method

  1. Chop the nuts and keep with littlefor decoration.
  2. Mix sugar and milk in a thick pan (add little milk to the condensed milk if thick).add condensed milk and butter to it.
  3. Heat gently stirring constantly till the sugar dissloves.
  4. Then bring the mixture to a boil steadily until a little of the mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
  5. Stir very carefully throughout to prevent burning.
  6. Remove from the heat and add chopped nuts.
  7. Then pour into a well greased tin.
  8. Mark into squares when still warm.
  9. Decorate each square and cut them when cold and set
