1 cup toor dal
1 tbsp channa dal
1/2 cup coconuti
5-6 green chillies
Hing (aesophitida)
salt to taste
1/2 cup finely chopped methi leaves(optional)
finely chopped coriander (dhania) leaves
curry leaves (kadi patta)

  1. Soak the dals for 3-4 hours. coarsely grind the dals with all the ingredients(except methi, coriander and curry leaves) and very little water. add the finely chopped methi, coriander and curry leaves to the coarsely ground dough. make small balls and flatten them a little(somewhat like a patti). grease an idli stand (or any flat vessel) with some
