Nimbu ki Nimki recipe - How to make Nimbu ki Nimki

Preparation Time: 10 days   Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 1 bottle

1 kg lemon
250 gms salt
  1. Wash lemon ,dip in water for 2 days and keep aside.
  2. Drain, wash and wipe with a kitchen towel.
  3. Rub the lemons slightly on the mortar and keep aside.
  4. Spread salt evenly in glass jar and arrange the lemon on salt and cover with remaining salt.
  5. Cover and keep under the sun for a few days or till salt melts and lemon is soft.
  6. Serve as required.
