Namkeen jalebi recipe - How to make Namkeen jalebi

For jalebi batter-100 g. gram flour,
50g. Rice flour,
1/4 tsp turmeric powder,
1tsp ajwain, crushed,
1tspginger-garlic paste,
1/2 tsp green chilli paste, a pinch asafoetida,
salt and red chilli powder to taste,
1tsp chat masala mixed with dried mint powder.
Oil for frying

  1. Mix gram flour with all the batter ingredients and add enough water to mix a thick batter of dosa batter consistency and keep aside to rest for 30 minutes. after 30 minutes
  2. Heat oil in a flat pan. put the mixture in a cloth bag with a small hole & pour it into the hot oil in jalebi shape. when crisp remove from oil and keep on absobent paper to drain extra oil. sprinkle chat masala mixed with dried mint powder according the taste.
  3. serve hot with green & tamarind chutney.
