Namak Pary recipe - How to make Namak Pary


Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 8 to 10 servings

1/2 kg plain flour (maida)
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
salt to taste
100 gms ghee
oil for deep frying
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a semi-stiff dough using enough warm water. Keep aside.
  2. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions.
  3. Roll each portion into a thick puri.
  4. Cut each puri length wise and cut into 2" pieces.
  5. Heat the ghee in a kadhai and deep fry the pieces till they turn light golden brown in colour from both the sides.
  6. Serve immediately or store in an air0tight container.
