1 cup crushed green peas
500 ml milk
1/2 cup grated paneer (cottage cheese)
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp milk powder
12 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder

To Garnish
blanched and pistachio slivers
  1. Bring milk to boil.
  2. Add all other ingredients and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes or until desired consistency is achieved.
  3. Garnish it with pista and serve it warm or cold with debra, puri, jamun or rasgulla or cherish it as it is.
