Mustard Coconut Rice

A delicious and easy rice preparation made with mustard seeds and grated coconut.
- Combine 1 tbsp mustard seeds, coconut, salt, turmeric , asafoetida and red chillies and blend in a mixer to a coarse paste, adding very little water. Keep aside.
- Heat the oil in a kadhai and add the mustard seeds.
- When the seeds crackle, add the curry leaves, urad dal, chana dal, cashewnuts and groundnut and saute for 30 seconds.
- Add the rice and ground masala and salt and mix well.
- Serve hot.
