Mushroom upside down cake recipe - How to make Mushroom upside down cake

For the first layer- 2 tbsp oil,
100 gm button mushroom,
salt and pepper to taste
For the cake batter-1cup flour (maida),
1/4cup sour curd,
2tbsps fresh cream,2tbsps milk or as required ,
1tsp baking powder,
1/2tsp soda bi carb,
1/2tsp cinnamon powder, salt and pepper (kalimirch) to taste
- Cut the mushrooms into small slices.. heat the oil and add the mushrooms .sauté for 2 minutes with salt. pepper and oregano. transfer to a greased non-stick cake tin and spread the mushrooms at the bottom of the cake tin
- For the cake batter-. sift the baking powder, soda, cinnamon and the black pepper powder and salt into the maida. blend the sour curd , fresh cream and the milk together.(adjust the cake consistency by adding milk as required.) pour this slowly into the maida, stirring all the time to avoid the lumps. mix well so that the mixture is soft and fluffy
- How to proceed -pour this mixture over mushroom in cake tin and bake in a preheated oven at 150 degree c for about 10-15 minutes or until a knitting needle comes out clean when pierced in the centre of the cake . allow the cake to cool inside the oven. bring to room temperature and then place a plate on the cake tin and overturn the cake so that t
