Murungkai Mangai Sambhar

Serve hot with plain rice and chips.
- Heat the oil in a deep pan, and add the mustard seeds. When the seeds crackle, add the fenugreek seeds, curry leaves, drumsticks, mango and tomato and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add the tamarind pulp, salt, turmeric powder, sambhar powder, asafoetida, mix well and cook till the mixture becomes thick.
- Add the cooked dal and rice flour dissolved in 1½ cup of water, mix well and bring it to boil.
- Serve hot garnished with coriander.
