To sprout moong dal, soak overnight in sufficient water. drain and tie in a muslin cloth for 6 hrs. sprinkle water and store in a zip lock cover to use whenever required. this can be stored upto one week.

also you can add a little tadka to this recipe and use as a side dish for rotis. but be sure to boil the moong sprouts.

2 cups sprouted moong (whole green gram)
1 pomogranate , seeds (anardana) seperated
1 cup mango (cut into tiny pieces)
1/2 cup chopped coriander (dhania) leaves
1/2 cup finely chopped cucumber
1 tbsp lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. serve as a salad with chappatis or rice and rasam.
