Thickly grated radish is perked up by the addition of an unusual combination of ingredients like garlic, mustard seeds and lemon juice. This makes a tongue tickling dish that is low in calories and carbohydrates and so is a perfect accompaniment to a main course like khichdi or parathas.
- Combine all the ingredients except salt in a deep bowl and allow it to marinate for at least an hour. Cover with a lid and refrigerate for atleast 30 minutes.
- Serve chilled.
- Radish emits a strong odour. Remember to cover the bowl tightly and or plastic wrap so that the other foods in the refrigerator do not smell like radish too.
