Mixed Dal Kurkuri recipe - How to make Mixed Dal Kurkuri


Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 servings

2 cups mixed dals
2 chopped onions
1 tsp salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) powder
1 tsp chilli powder
2 small capsicum , finely chopped
1 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
1/2 tsp fennel seeds (saunf)
a pinch asafoetida (hing)
oil for deep frying
  1. Wash the dals and blend in a mixer to a smooth paste.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  3. Heat the oil in a kadhai, drop spoonfuls of the batter in hot oil and fry until golden brown.
  4. Serve with chutney.
