A simple and delicious dal recipe.
- Soak the dals in enough water for 2 hours.
- Drain and blend in a mixer along with green chillies to a coarse paste. Keep aside.
- Heat the oil in a kadhai and add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds and urad dal.
- When the seeds crackle, add the garlic, onions and tomatoes, mix well and saute for few minutes.
- Add the ground dal and little water, mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
