Mint Flavoured Channa Masala recipe - How to make Mint Flavoured Channa Masala

3 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp fennel seeds (saunf)
2 slit green chillies
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
2 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
3/4 cup tomato puree
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp sambhar masala
1/2 tsp garam masala
salt to taste
1/2 cup coriander (dhania) paste
1/2 cup mint (phudina) paste
2 cups cooked kabuli chana (white chick peas)
chopped onions for garnishing
nylon sev for garnishing
  1. Heat the oil in a non-stick kadhai, add the feenel seeds and green chillies and saute for 10 seconds.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and saute for 10 minutes.
  3. Serve hot garnished with chopped onions and nylon sev.
