Mini Rice Burgers recipe - How to make Mini Rice Burgers

Ingredients
1 cup cooked rice (chawal)
1 cup chopped spring onions whites
1/2 cup chopped carrots
1/2 cup chopped capsicum
1 cup shredded cabbage
2 boiled and mashed potatoes
1 cup chopped spring onions
2 tsp schezuan sauce
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
2 tsp cornflour
tomato ketchup
salt to taste
oil for deep frying

For Garnishing
cucumber slices
tomato slices
onion slices
lettuce leaves
Method
  1. Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan, add the spring onions and saute for 1 minute.
  2. Add the carrots, capsicum, cabbage, potato and spring onions and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the schezuan sauce, vinegar and salt, mix well and keep aide to cool.
  4. In a bowl, combine the rice, salt, pepper and cornflour and mix well.
  5. Shape them into round flat pattice and roast in a pan till they turn golden brown and crisp from both the sides.
  6. Cool, apply some ketchup.
  7. Place some cucumber, tomato, onion and lettuce slices and another pattice on top.
  8. Serve immediately.
