Method

  1. Fry all the ingredients for grinding in a pan dry.grind it.
  2. Soak the tamarind for 10-15 minutes
  3. Prepare concentrated tamarind juice.
  4. Heat the pan.pour one spoon of oil
  5. Prepeare thadka with all the ingredients mentioned.
  6. Add the tamarind juice to that.
  7. Add haldi and salt. bring it to boil.
  8. Then add the ground mixture.
  9. Boil till the contents become thick gravy and raw smell of tamarind vanishes.
  10. Serve hot with rice and parupu thogaiyal or poricha kootu and pappad.
