Methi-palak soup is able to aptly incorporate the goodness of greens like fenugreek or methi leaves and palak or spinach leaves in to a tasty healthy green soup. Enjoy this healthful thick and hot soup with croutons as topping and toasted bread slices as side dish.

Ingredients

1/2 bunch of fenugreek (methi) leaves
1 bunch of spinach (palak)
1 medium sized tomato
4 to 5 cloves of garlic (lehsun)
salt to taste
1 tbsp oil
8 cups water
Method

  1. Put oil in a non-stick vessal
  2. Add chopped garlic pieces. let them fry till golden brown
  3. Add cut tomato piceces.
  4. Add methi leaves, plucked and washed and cut.
  5. Add palak leaves, cut and washed.
  6. Add water and let it boil for around 10 mins.
  7. Add salt
  8. Strain and serve hot.
