Methi Dana Khichdi recipe - How to make Methi Dana Khichdi

1/2 cup rice (chawal) , soaked for 15 minutes
1 tbsp fenugreek (methi) seeds , soaked in 1/4 cup water
1 tsp coriander (dhania) seeds
1 tsp crushed ginger (adrak)
salt to taste
2 cups coconut milk
  1. Take 3 1/2 cups of water in a deep pan and bring to boil.
  2. Add the rice, methi seeds, coriander seeds, ginger and salt and mix well and cook till the grains are cooked and soft.
  3. Lower the flame and add the thick coconut milk, mix well and cook for more 10 minutes.
  4. Serve hot.
