A delicious and spicy snack recipe, Masala bread is laden with the authentic flavours of Indian cooking . The spicy mixture made from garlic, grated coconut, poppy seeds, red chilli powder and onions are smeared on the bread slices and then these masala breads are shallow fried in hot oil. Enjoy crispy hot wit tamarind and date chutney.
- Grind all the masala ingredients to a fine paste.
- Smear on sliced bread on both sides and shallow fry in a little ghee or oil till brown.
- Serve hot.
