Mango pulihora recipe - How to make Mango pulihora

rice - 150gms cooked
mango - 1 medium sized
green chillies - 6nos. slit
chana dal - 1 spoon
peanuts - 1 table spoon
turmeric - 1/2 tea spoon
salt to taste
curry leaves (kadi patta)
red chillies
a pinch asafoetida (hing)
mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
cumin seeds (jeera)
oil - 4table spoons

  1. Heat oil in a kadai add mustard seeds and jeera when they are done add hing chana dal, peanuts roast them. add red chillies, green chillies, turmeric, grated mango and salt. mix well. when the aroma comes and oil seperates take off the stove now mix the above mixture with cooked rice. mango rice is ready to eat.
