Mango chutney recipe - How to make Mango chutney

1 medium sized raw mango
5-6 green chillies
salt to taste
for the tempering:
1tbsp oil
1/2 tsp hing
1/2 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
5 to 6 curry leaves (kadi patta)

  1. 1.peel the mango & chop it roughly.
  2. 2.blend the green chillies & salt in the blender.
  3. 3.add the mango piecies & blend 80%.(dont make it a puree)
  4. 4.remove the chutney to a bowl.prepare the tempering by heating oil,add the hing & then the mustard & curry leaves.immedietly pour over the chutney.mix.
