Mango Lychee Bahar recipe - How to make Mango Lychee Bahar

Ingredients

For The Stuffing
1 1/2 cups mango pulp
50 gms grated khoya
1/4 cup grated coconut
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp ghee
a pinch saffron (kesar) strands
2 tbsp sliced almonds
2 tbsp sliced pistachios

Other Ingredients
8 to 10 lychee
edible silver warq
Method
For the filling

    For the filling
  1. Roast the khoya in a non-stick pan and keep aside.
  2. Heat the ghee in a non-stick kadhai, add the mango pulp and coconut and cook till the mixture turns thick.
  3. Add the roasted khoya, sugar, mix well and cook till the mixture leaves ghee from sides.
  4. Cool and keep aside.

How to proceed

    How to proceed
  1. Peel the lychees, slit them and remove the seeds.
  2. Stuff each lychee with prepared filling.
  3. Garnish with silver warq and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Serve chilled.

Can I use dried coconut or fresh coconut is needed?? N is dried khoya needed?
