Mango Balls in Mango Cream recipe - How to make Mango Balls in Mango Cream

6 bread slices
milk as required
1 tbsp pistachio slivers
chopped mangoes

For The Stuffing
1/2 cup grated coconut
1 cup mango pulp
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup mangoes
a pinch saffron (kesar) strands dissolved in 1 tsp warm milk
2 drops mango essence
1 tsp ghee

For The Mango Cream
1 1/2 cups fresh cream
1 1/2 cups mango pulp
1/4 cup condensed milk
2 drops mango essence
For the stuffing

    For the stuffing
  1. Heat ghee in a non stick pan , add coconut, mango pulp, sugar and cook stirring continuously till thick and leaves the side of the pan. Transfer into a bowl and allow it to cool.
  2. Add rest of all ingredients for stuffing and mix well.
  3. Divide the mixture into 6 portions.

  1. Cut each bread slices into roundels using a round mould.
  2. Dip in milk and press between the hands to squeeze out extra milk.
  3. Place 1 portion of the stuffing, gather the edges to seal the stuffing well.
  4. Repeat with the rest of Stuffing and Bread slices to prepare the Balls.
  5. Chill the Balls in fridge for 1/2 an hour.

For the mango cream

    For the mango cream
  1. Mix fresh cream, mango pulp, condensed milk, mango essence and chill for 1/2 an hour.

How to proceed

  1. Arrange the the Mango Balls in individual bowls and pour Chilled Mango Cream over the Balls.
  2. Sprinkle ripe mango pieces and pistachio flakes.
  3. Chill for 1/2 -1 hour.
  4. Garnish with cherry and mint leaves.
  5. Serve chilled.
