Mango- Paneer Pakoda recipe - How to make Mango- Paneer Pakoda

1/2 cup sliced paneer
salt to taste

For The Batter
1/2 cup mango pulp
1/2 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
salt to taste
1 tbsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1/2 tbsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) powder
2 tsp chopped coriander (dhania)
2 tsp hot oil
a pinch baking soda

Other Ingredients
oil to deep fry
  1. Sprinkle salt on paneer slices and keep aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a kadhai.
  3. Combine the batter ingredients in a bowl and make a smooth flow thick batter with mango puree and add water as per requirement.
  4. Dip a piece of paneer in the batter and deep in hot oil until brownish.
  5. Sprinkle chilli powder and serve hot with plain lassi.
