Ingredients
1 ltr milk
2 cups lotus seeds , cut into pieces
1 cup sugar
1 tsp ghee
mixed chopped nuts for garnishing
Method
  1. Boil the milk in a deep pan till the milk reduces to half.
  2. Heat the ghee in a kadhai, add the lotus seeds and saute till it turns pink in colour.
  3. Add this to the milk and add the sugar, mix well and boil till the kheer is cooked.
  4. Garnish with nuts and serve hot or cold.
