Makhane ki kheer is a sweet dish recipe with lotus stem seeds or makhana cooked in sweetened and nutmeg flavoured milk. Devour this creamy and unique kheer recipe as a delicious dessert.
- Boil the milk in a deep pan till the milk reduces to half.
- Heat the ghee in a kadhai, add the lotus seeds and saute till it turns pink in colour.
- Add this to the milk and add the sugar, mix well and boil till the kheer is cooked.
- Garnish with nuts and serve hot or cold.
