Low Cal Peppers recipe - How to make Low Cal Peppers

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 servings

1 tsp oil
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
4-5 medium capsicum , finely chopped
salt to taste
1 1/2 tsp sambhar masala
a pinch asafoetida (hing)
  1. Heat up oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
  2. When the seeds crackle, add the asafoetida and bell peppers and salt and mix well.
  3. Cover the pan and put water on the cover so that bell peppers will not stick to the bottom of the pan.
  4. Allow it to cook for 5-6 mins with intermittent stirring.
  5. When fully cooked add sambhar masala and mix well.
  6. Serve hot.
