Low calorie green chutney is a healthy and spicy green chutney recipe with coriander ad mint leaves blended together with salt, lime juice and garlic.

Low Cal. Green Chutney recipe - How to make Low Cal. Green Chutney

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 0.5 servings

1/2 cup roasted chana dal (daria)
1/4 cup chopped coriander (dhania)
1 green chilli , chopped
1 tbsp low fat curds (dahi) , beaten
salt to taste

1/2 tsp oil
a pinch of asafoetida (hing)
1/8 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
  1. Combine the chana dal, coriander and green chilli with 1 cup of water and grind to a smooth paste.

  1. Heat the oilin a non-stick pan and add the asafoetida and mustard seeds and fry until the seeds crackle.
  2. Pour the seasoning over the chutney,
  3. Add the curds and mix well.
  4. Serve with your favorite snacks.
