A simple guide to prepare lime sauce by mixing butter, sugar,water and cornflour to lemon rind and lemon juice. The tangy lime sauce may be used as salad dressing or dip or even as a topping for ice creams and pies.

Ingredients

1 tbsp butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 tbsp cornflour
1/2 tsp grated lemon rind
2 tbsp lemon juice
Method


  1. Heat butter on high for 20-30 seconds.
  2. Stir in sugar,water,cornflour,lime rind and juice.
  3. Heat on high for 3-4 minutes. stir well.
